Hi, I’m Giulia, the therapist behind WavePath Therapy.
I’m originally from Brazil and moved to Miami in my early teens. Growing up between cultures shaped a lot of how I see the world and how I connect with people. I know what it feels like to navigate identity, belonging, and the experience of figuring out who you are while life is constantly shifting around you.
Those experiences sparked an early curiosity about people and the ways our life stories shape how we think, feel, and relate to others. Over time that curiosity turned into a passion for understanding emotional patterns, relationships, and the ways people grow through difficult seasons of life.
The name WavePath Therapy reflects a personal passion of mine (the ocean) and something I have come to believe about life. It moves in waves. Some seasons feel calm and clear, while others can feel confusing, heavy, or overwhelming. Many people come to therapy feeling like they keep encountering the same waves over and over again, especially when it comes to anxiety, relationships, and the patterns they find themselves repeating.
My personality as a therapist is warm, honest, and very human. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation rather than something overly clinical or distant. I care deeply about the people I work with and I tend to show up as someone who listens closely, asks thoughtful questions, and helps clients see things about themselves they may not have noticed before.
Clients often tell me they appreciate that I create a space where they feel comfortable being themselves. I believe people grow the most when they feel understood, not judged.
Outside of therapy, I am someone who values curiosity, personal growth, and learning about what helps people live more meaningful and authentic lives. I see therapy as a space where people can step back from the noise of everyday life and begin to reconnect with themselves.
Life will always have waves, but it is possible to learn how to move through them with greater awareness, resilience, and trust in yourself.
